Azure speed test
Understand your results
Your browser tests one Azure region in three stages: latency, download, then upload. Latency is the median HTTPS response time after a warm-up request. Jitter is the average difference between consecutive latency samples.
The curves show recent transfer speeds. The final speed is the average over the whole transfer. Download latency and upload latency measure response times while the connection is busy; larger increases can affect calls and games.
Single uses one transfer at a time. Multi uses up to four parallel transfers. Each stage stops after 12 seconds or 100 MiB. Uploads use generated test data. Results measure your connection to the selected Azure region and can differ from other speed tests.
